Een nostalgische, underground afrobeatact.
Cameroonian funk innovator Pasteur Lappe pioneered the infectious Sekele Movement during the late 1970s and early 1980s, blending traditional rhythms with disco, afrobeat, and soul. Hailing from Douala, his rhythm-heavy compositions and vintage analog warmth have made him a revered figure among world music collectors and crate-diggers. His timeless releases like African Funk Experimentals capture a vibrant cross-cultural era of African dance music.
