Roughly Human

If you're reading this - Hiiii! :) Roughly Human is an emotional memetic post anti softcore (emo/post-hardcore in human terms) band from Vilnius, Lithuania. The band is comprised from 5 seriously silly guys whose interests include monkeying around, going ape, odd time signatures and obscure hyperliterary references. _______________ Roughly Human’s debut album, On Edge released in February 2022, proved to be an unexpected hit in the local scene, netting the band an opportunity to appear on national radio and open for the country’s biggest rock band ba. to a crowd of 7,000 people. In late 2023, the gang hunkered down and began writing and recording their most ambitious project to date: a dense, narrative-driven emo epic, entitled Almost Daylight, Hopeless Dawn. To fully convey the story to the casual listener, Roughly Human released the album as a serial, drip-feeding the fans one act a month throughout the summer of 2024. The band's most recent outing, the deceptively bright Spring Into Action EP delves juxtaposes the bright, lifebringing power of spring with a feeling of hopelessness in the face of digital erosion, war and climate change.
