A homegrown, underground indie jazz act.
Singer, songwriter and guitarist Liisa Tetsmann has created a world for her music called Rubundi. Fuelled mainly by nocturnal flashes of inspiration, her work has a touch of mischievousness, a pinch of melancholy, a swim in time, but also a touch of Gavroche. Rubundi's music lures the listener into mind-boggles that require a swift exit from the main road, a seat on the wet grass and a mind free to wander through the enchanting maze of being human. The band has released four albums to date, with dusty hints of jazz, blues and folk: "Mõttemets" (2019), "Müha (2021), “Fantasöör”(2023) and “Luulutaja”(2025).
Rubundi plays an eclectic blend of alternative folk, jazz, and blues with nocturnal, poetic storytelling, known for albums like Müha.
Rubundi is based in Tallinn, Estonia.
