Tegan Hughes

Hi, I’m Tegan Hughes — a singer-songwriter from the Fylde Coast in the North West of England. I write honest, lyric-led songs inspired by real experiences, quiet thoughts, and the moments that stay with you longer than you expect. More recently, I’ve stepped into live performance and become a regular at local venues, open mic nights, and community events. Live music is where everything clicks for me — there’s nothing better than seeing a lyric land or hearing someone sing it back. I love being part of the grassroots music scene, supporting other artists, and performing at charity and community events. My music blends emotionally charged songwriting with acoustic and soulful elements, always led by vocals that don’t like to hide. In 2025, I released my debut single Fate, followed by a darker Fate – Deep House Edition and the cinematic alt-pop track Haunt Me. These releases helped my music reach a wider audience, with airplay on BBC Introducing, and I’ve been amazed to see my songs connecting with listeners as far as the United States and France. I’m influenced by artists like Lewis Capaldi, Adele, Sia, and Paolo Nutini, artists who value honesty and storytelling. I believe vulnerability is a strength, and I try to turn real moments into songs. This space holds my music as it grows, with new releases and moments shared along the way.
