The Youniverse

The Youniverse is an energetic alternative blues-rock band from Slovakia. Delivering a raw, sexy, and electrifying sound that feels straight out of a Quentin Tarantino movie, the band quickly made a name for itself with high-energy, riff-based music, funk-infused vocals, and exhilarating performances. Their debut EP Raise Hell, Kid dropped in 2016, accompanied by 8 music videos, marking the start of their journey. In 2018, The Youniverse released their critically acclaimed debut album CMYK under indie label BRUUDER Records. The album earned them nominations for Debut of the Year and Song of the Year at the Radio_Head Awards, and they soon became regulars on Slovakia's festival circuit, including Grape and Pohoda. They continued to push creative boundaries, even incorporating performance art into their shows, streaming 10 days of live rehearsals as part of a gallery installation. Their second album, NEON, released in 2023 through Swedish label ALOADED, and solidified their status, earning them nominations for the Award for Audiovisual Arts for their standout music videos. The Youniverse is known for blending blues, rock, and a provocative, unrestrained, slightly controversial sense of boundary-pushing creativity into their music and performances. Currently, they are releasing their third studio album, CHROME, a fusion of 00s musical influences, in which each individual song feels like a soundtrack to an iconic movie, taking you through an almost visual journey.
