Tracks5
The Tijs Klaassen quintet is a close group of friends that despite their young age have been playing together for almost a decade. They feel right at home at the meeting point of jazz, classical music, electronics and free improvisation. In the past they were among the winners of the Keep an Eye the Records award and the Sena Performance award of the Dutch Jazz Competition. They released the two critically acclaimed albums ‘Clavius’ en ‘Nostalgia’ in 2019 and 2022. This spring will see the release of their 3rd album ‘Adhocism’ on the Dutch label ZenneZ Records and the Canadian label Elastic Records.
