At the age of 12, Tommy Peltier acquired a trumpet which was the vehicle he would use for the next 25 years to express himself musically. During the 60s, Tommy put together a group with some extraordinary jazz players called The Jazz Corps and recorded an album that featured the great Roland Kirk. In the 70s, Tommy transformed into a singer, songwriter, guitar player and headed up a band called Jasmine along with other bands that included his close friend Judee Sill. Over the years Tommy had many bands in different genres, exploring the musical unknown. The 90s brought another transformation with an avant-garde group called Plastic Theatre Art Band. They collaborated with a couple of modern dance and ballet companies and played the Southern Cal circuit. Presently Tommy has a trio that’s performing locally in California and recording and continuing the creative magic of making music.
