Toyen is a Czech dream pop and shoegaze band formed in the late 1980s, blending jangle pop melodies with atmospheric guitar textures. Drawing inspiration from 1960s guitar music and post-punk sensibilities, the group creates an immersive and emotionally resonant soundscape. Named after the surrealist painter Marie Čermínová's pseudonym, they remain a distinctive cult fixture of the alternative scene.
