A stylish, nostalgic medieval act.
Veratus is a medieval music band that plays songs from the 12th to the 15th century. The band is composed of seven musicians fascinated by medieval and folk sounds. The members of the band have been involved in the world of early music since their early years, and have participated in many festivals and competitions in Poland and abroad. Their arrangements capture the authentic and unique atmosphere of the medieval period because they are performed in the original languages: Old English, Old French, Old Norse, and Latin. What makes their performances truly unique is that they are played on replicas of instruments from that era created by one of the band members and skilled luthier - Tomasz Czypul. The band's program includes both secular and sacred songs, demonstrations of ancient dances, and presentations of instruments. Their stage experience, period costumes, and instruments all come together to present the musical culture of the medieval period at the highest level.
