EAST ANGLIAN BRUTAL DEATH METAL War Bastard is a 4 piece brutal death metal band hailing from the flat bogs of East Anglia. Formed in 2024 by W D King, Zak Wiseman, Ruben Ager & Tommy Roberts, the bands sound evolved from a classic OSDM style, towards a highly technical, brutal approach. In mid 2025 Ollie Irvin joined on vocals, completing the initial lineup. War Bastard began a run of shows in the East Anglia region, culminating in the release of their debut EP in 2025, PUTRESCENT INOCULATION In early 2026, long time bassist Christian Cilliers left the band and was replaced by Tess Thrash, completing the current War Bastard lineup. As of June 2026 War Bastard is in the process of recording their debut album.
