The pioneers of blues rock and dirty country bring their signature high-energy flair to Zebulon. Get ready for a night of steady southern grooves. Tickets on Mood.
Southern Culture On the Skids, also known as SCOTS, are pioneers of blues rock and dirty country music. The band's music often explores themes of the rock and roll lifestyle, including sex, drugs, and southern fried chicken. Known for their infectious live sets that pull in crowds with steady grooves and a unique southern flair, their sound has been featured in classic films like Happy Gilmore and The Dukes of Hazzard. Lead singer Rick Miller brings a splendid and inspirational energy to the stage, performing with a signature style that avoids critical pretension in favor of pure rocking out. Their music is frequently compared to the atmosphere of a Quentin Tarantino western, blending blues, rock, and country into a fast-paced, high-energy performance.
