Cuerdas: An Introduction to Musical Expression

Learn the foundations of ukulele through guided practice of chords, rhythm, and song. Rooted in a diasporic history of migration and cultural exchange, this instrument carries sound shaped through adaptation and creativity. We will explore music as a collective form of connection and expression. Instructor Xochitl Palomera is an educator, herbalist, and culture bearer whose work centers ancestral healing, community wellness, and cultural arts.
