An afternoon of improvised music featuring a collaborative trio of David Birchall on guitar, Kate Carr playing amplified objects, and Tullis Rennie on trombone and electronics. The performance celebrates the launch of their release Murmuring Music on the Flaming Pines label. Manchester-based David Birchall performs improvised music across international circuits and curates the Curious Ear series. Australian artist Kate Carr works between composition and sound installation, combining field recordings with tactile live foley and amplified objects. Tullis Rennie is a composer, improviser, and field recordist whose practice bridges electronic music, acoustic improvisation, and participatory sound arts.
