Contemporary Irish folk band Madra Salach performs live ahead of their debut album Gorta. Tickets on Mood.
Madra Salach is a contemporary folk band from Dublin blending traditional Irish music, indie sounds, and electronic experimentation. Formed by six local friends from pub jam sessions, the group creates an immersive, modern sound driven by Paul Banks' vocals, merging traditional instruments with synths and distortion. Ahead of their debut album Gorta in early 2027, the band carves out a unique identity reimagining Irish heritage without nostalgia.
