Berkeley bassist and composer Lisa Mezzacappa brings her ensemble to The Back Room for an evening of raucous original music. The group will perform selections from their release 'othrwrldly', an expansive project exploring worldbuilding inspired by speculative fiction authors. Opening the night is The Holly Martins, a Bay Area trio exploring open-ended, rhythm-section-free improvisational jazz.
