A nostalgic opera night.
Raphaël Pichon conducts Ensemble Pygmalion in a performance featuring Mozart's Mass in C minor. Celebrating their twentieth anniversary, the ensemble—recently named Best Orchestra and Best Choir at the 2025 OPER! Awards—explores musical lineages and interactions between vocal and orchestral forces. The program also includes sacred works by Bruckner, Mendelssohn, Schubert, and Michael Haydn, with a notable quartet of soloists led by soprano Sabine Devieilhe.
