The shadow of pianist Bill Evans looms softly over modern jazz, with his sensitivity and lyricism continuing to influence contemporary piano music. Pianist Randy Ingram joins forces with master bassist Rufus Reid and drummer Joe LaBarbera, a close friend and collaborator of Evans, for an evening dedicated to celebrating his music in his preferred trio format. The performance promises a night of quiet romance and introspection.
