Στο πλαίσιο της Ευρωπαϊκής Ημέρας Μουσικής, το Μέγαρο Μουσικής Θεσσαλονίκης φιλοξενεί τη Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα Νέων του Πίτσμπουργκ, μία από τις κορυφαίες ορχήστρες νέων των ΗΠΑ. Υπό τη διεύθυνση του Τζέικομπ Τζόις, το σύνολο παρουσιάζει ένα πρόγραμμα με έργα των R. Strauss, S. Rachmaninoff, L. v. Beethoven και O. Respighi, αναδεικνύοντας τον εξαιρετικό χαρακτήρα και τις δυνατότητές του. Η εμφάνιση πραγματοποιείται σε σύμπραξη με τη MOYSA, τη Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα Νέων του Μεγάρου Μουσικής Θεσσαλονίκης.
