Camilla Sims, artistically known as Convict Julie, debuts original compositions featuring an independent Black Women & Gender Expansive orchestral ensemble. The project explores colonial migration patterns of the transatlantic slave trade through Black women's sonic and cultural experiences expressed as new works.
