Best known for her chart-topping signature hit "Don't Leave Me This Way," Houston's career spans decades of success in pop, R&B, and dance music. A Mississippi native, she began her journey in gospel music before rising to international stardom. Her celebrated career includes being the first solo female artist at Motown to win a Grammy for Best R&B Female Vocal Performance. A member of the Dance Music Hall of Fame, she continues to perform worldwide and collaborate with contemporary artists while maintaining a dedicated commitment to philanthropic causes.
