The Californian duo Automatic brings their playful post-punk to the Pop-Kultur Festival. Musicians Izzy Glaudini and Halle Saxon create an analog 1980s-inspired sound that blends pop-infused new wave with hazy minimalism. Reminiscent of The Go-Go's, the group recently released their third album, Is It Now?, which features a polished energy that translates into fresh live performances. Having supported acts like Tame Impala, IDLES, and The Marías, Automatic is set to showcase their charming intensity at the festival. Pop-Kultur Festival 2026 features live concerts, experimental music formats, and talks across various Berlin venues including silent green Kulturquartier, Festsaal Kreuzberg, and Kulturbrauerei, highlighting both international and local artists.
