An afternoon filled with groove and soul as Jong Metropole joins forces with singer Jeangu Macrooy. Under the direction of Simon Dobson, this orchestra—comprised of top students from Dutch conservatories—presents a swing-filled program. The repertoire features Jeangu's popular tracks alongside virtuous pieces from the Metropole catalog. Jong Metropole has been bridging the worlds of classical and jazz since 2015, offering young musicians professional experience with leading soloists and conductors. Jeangu Macrooy is a celebrated soul-pop artist known for his albums and Eurovision participation.
