QYMA - MUSIC FOR OPEN SPACES Deep Listening Session
An underground, slow-burn ambient night.
An evening of deep listening, experimental sound and Chinese tea featuring Stefano Tripodi, known as QYMA. The session opens with a full-album playback of Marta Salogni & Tom Relleen's 'Music for Open Spaces', followed by an eclectic listening set of vinyl, field recordings, and digital archives spanning ambient, drone, experimental music, and noise. Stefano Tripodi is a Berlin-based photographer, publisher, and sound curator who hosts Ouroboros on Radio AlHara and founded Noisecapes. Tea and a curated selection of Chinese teas accompany the session.
