The Cologne-based four-piece GRENZKONTROLLE brings their tour to Berlin, presenting music that sits at the intersection of post-punk, political art, and cultural collage. Known for their distinct social commitment, the band uses their songs to make contemporary issues visible and foster a sense of awareness. Their latest EP, PIRATEN, serves as a tribute to the Edelweiss Pirates, a Kölner resistance group from the NS era, translating historical defiance into a modern context. Musically, the group balances high-energy post-punk with funky elements, creating a sound that mirrors the social tensions they explore.
