Sinfonietta Rīga joins conductor Olari Elts and cimbalom soloist Iurie Morar for an evening celebrating French musical innovation and its modern echoes. The program explores the bohemian spirit of Erik Satie with orchestrations by Claude Debussy and Francis Poulenc, Henri Dutilleux's Mystère de l'instant highlighting the cimbalom, Debussy's La Plus que lente, Poulenc's Sinfonietta, and Michael Jarrell's reflections on Debussy's piano etudes.
