Space Ghost transforms vintage influences into a contemporary sound. Drawing from obscure electronic music of past eras, he has established a unique presence as both a producer and DJ. Originating from a small town in Northern California, he moved to Oakland over seventeen years ago and became a key figure in the Bay Area music scene. His DJ sets are characterized by a refined, eclectic flow that spans 90s downtempo and ambient, moving into R&B, G-funk, street soul, and deeper house rhythms influenced by Chicago and New York traditions. Guided by DIY and underground aesthetics, his work balances ambient qualities with dance-ready grooves, earning him a dedicated following.
