The Iranian classical music duo Gardān makes their Prague debut with their program Zarbikhani, centered around rhythmic sung improvisation. Vocalist Mehdi Emami and tar virtuoso Saina Zamaniyan showcase the intricate melodic and rhythmic heritage of Persian music, accompanied by an introductory overview of the Iranian modal system and explanatory commentary throughout the evening.
