Emmanuelle Haïm conducts Le Concert d’Astrée in a performance of Handel's Messiah as part of her three-year Handel Project Festival. Tickets on Mood.
Emmanuelle Haïm leads Le Concert d’Astrée in a new interpretation of Handel’s Messiah, a work she has long championed throughout her career. Having first encountered the masterpiece while working with Christophe Rousset and William Christie, Haïm has since conducted it extensively across Europe and the United States. This performance is part of her three-year Handel Project Festival (2025-2027). Written in less than a month in 1741, the Messiah remains a peak of Handel's inspiration and dramatic power.
The performance happens at the Philharmonie de Paris, located at 221 Avenue Jean Jaurès in the 19th arrondissement.
The lineup features soloists Lucy Crowe, Carlo Vistoli, Ashley Riches, and Lunga Eric Hallam, with support from the Académie du Chœur de l'Orchestre de Paris.
