Charlie Halloran's Tropicales bring a 1950s Caribbean hotel party to life with horn arrangements and tropical rhythms. Drawing on New Orleans' historical connection to the Caribbean, the ensemble performs calypso, cumbia, biguine, and bolero from Trinidad, Venezuela, Martinique, and Guadeloupe.
