Cola
A gritty post-punk night.
Montreal post-punk trio Cola presents their new album Cost of Living Adjustment at Petit Bain on October 28. Tickets on Mood.
The Montreal trio Cola, featuring Tim Darcy, Ben Stidworthy, and Evan Cartwright, presents their third album, Cost of Living Adjustment (C.O.L.A.). This record explores themes of socialism and nostalgia through a sophisticated aesthetic that the band describes as tasteful minimalism. While their earlier work was more stripped back, this new album represents their most maximalist effort to date, blending live percussion with sampled drum loops to create a complex and beautiful soundscape.
