A homegrown, underground jazz night.
South African saxophonist and composer Linda Sikhakhane brings his quartet to The Django. Drawing inspiration from jazz icons John Coltrane and Winston Mankunku Ngozi, Sikhakhane represents the vibrant evolution of contemporary South African jazz. Recognized as the 2022 Standard Bank Young Jazz Artist and an Edison Jazz International Award nominee for his Blue Note debut 'iLadi', the New School alumnus showcases his expressive musicianship across two evening sets.
