Pianist Ethan Iverson and saxophonist Bill McHenry perform a duo set at Jamboree, exploring a creative partnership spanning over twenty-five years. Tickets on Mood.
A collaboration between tenor saxophonist Bill McHenry and pianist Ethan Iverson, bringing together two creative voices who have worked together for over twenty-five years. Known for avoiding musical clichés, McHenry offers a natural originality while Iverson presents a formal simplicity that modernizes classic themes. Their dialogue focuses on musicality rather than solo exhibitionism, creating a performance that is both enigmantic and deeply connected to jazz history.
