Soft Michel celebrates the launch of their new EP 'Iowa with you.' Moving away from their initial raw energy towards a more profound and sincere sound, the project explores hypnotic forms reminiscent of Mount Kimbie and Arcade Fire. Joining them is heavymodern, a group featuring former members of Hoorsees and Gabrielle Cresseaux. They blend powerful nu-metal guitars with British breakbeat rhythms, creating a sound that navigates between pop-shoegaze and American indie rock. Their production takes cues from modern hyperpop and digital experimentation, echoing the pop aesthetics of the new millennium.
