A raw, homegrown classical night.
Georgian composer and conductor Vakhtang Kakhidze presents his monumental Requiem, composed in tribute to his father, the legendary conductor Jansug Kakhidze. The piece bridges Western classical choral traditions with Georgian polyphonic folk music, performed alongside the Budafoki Dohnányi Orchestra, the Rustavi Ensemble, and the Chanters Quartet as part of Liszt Ünnep.
