A raw, underground choral night.
St Stephen's Consort presents an evening of a cappella choral music exploring themes of farewell, hope, love, longing, and loss. The programme pairs poetic texts by Yeats, Frost, and Campion with works by composers including Byrd, Victoria, Tippett, Parry, Poulenc, Aznavour, and Ansdell-Evans, alongside a specially commissioned setting of Robert Frost's poem by Helena Paish and a UK premiere by Pope.
