Marking its 16th anniversary, El Velorio presents a large-scale Dia de los Muertos celebration across two stages with music from Sonido Dolores and DJs Ritmos de Oro. The event features an extensive art exhibition curated by Irene Hernandez, Manny Martinez, and Superchief Gallery featuring more than 40 Catrinas, along with live painting demonstrations, skull painting workshops, and a classic lowrider and bike display. Sales from the art show support the National Tattoo Museum.
El Velorio XVI takes place on October 10, 2026, at Plaza de la Raza located at 3540 N Mission Rd in Los Angeles.
The musical lineup features Sonido Dolores and DJs Ritmos de Oro across two stages.
