Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin performs a chamber concert at Fotografiska Berlin highlighting International Womens Day. Tickets on Mood.
Chamber concert by the DSO (German Symphonic Orchestra) drawing attention to International Women's Day. Works by Florence Price, Jessie Montgomery, Gabriela Lena Frank, and Caroline Shaw highlight artistic voices that have asserted themselves within a male-dominated musical history. Combined with Daniel Bernard Roumain’s homage to Rosa Parks and Antonín Dvořák’s intercultural perspective, the performance offers a multifaceted musical plea for equality, diversity, and social change.
