Drummer Will Cleasby leads his latest project, a tribute to the legendary US drummer Elvin Jones. The group's name is inspired by Jones's tune "3 Card Molly." The performance features a selection of lesser-known compositions from Elvin's solo albums released between the 1960s and 1980s, highlighting the writing of both Jones and the members of his various ensembles. Cleasby, whose versatile playing has supported artists like Wynton Marsalis and Jamie Cullum, is joined by a band of acclaimed musicians.
