Polish Jazz Festival: Warsaw Jazz Takeover
A raw, underground folk night.
The current edition of the Polish Jazz Festival celebrates Warsaw's vibrant music scene at Union Chapel, showcasing key artists from the jazz and world music communities. The evening begins with HVMBLE, an energetic and young guitar-driven jazz trio. They are followed by the multi-award winning Marcin Masecki Trio, whose virtuosic piano compositions blend jazz, Latin, classical, and experimental music. The showcase concludes with the legendary Warsaw Village Band. This BBC World Music Award-nominated eight-piece ensemble creates a unique musical language that roots traditional folk in surreal, spacious improvisational jams.
