Composer and sound artist Heinali (Oleh Shpudeiko) and vocalist Andriana-Yaroslava Saienko present Гільдеґарда (Hildegard), a project exploring the music of 12th-century polymath Hildegard von Bingen. The performance blends early music, modular synthesis, and vocal techniques to create an immersive sensorial experience. Two of Bingen's compositions are reimagined at a slow tempo through drones and generative polyphonic structures. Saienko’s voice incorporates elements of traditional Ukrainian folk singing, emphasizing physical intensity and timbral range within a contemporary framework.
