The Clockworks

Originally from Galway, the quartet The Clockworks return in 2026 with their new album "The Entertainment", an exploration of isolation and human connection. Known for a cinematic sound that draws on film noir aesthetics like Bladerunner and the works of Fellini, the group has evolved from their raw indie beginnings to include rich arrangements of piano, synths, and strings. They are joined by Danny Blue, an independent alternative rock band from Antwerp. Formerly known as Danny Blue and the Old Socks, the group has reunited in its original four-member lineup to create a sound that blends the catharsis of shoegaze and grunge with indie-rock songwriting, focusing on themes of friendship and personal narratives.
