The L.A. Choral Lab performs contemporary classical vocal works at First Congregational Church of Los Angeles. Tickets on Mood.
Genesis explores creativity as the central force in our universe, portraying creation through sacred performance rites that weave broken fragments into something rare and golden. The L.A. Choral Lab brings together twenty-six vocalists in the Sanctuary of First Congregational Church of Los Angeles to perform works by contemporary composers. The concert features a 4-hands piano piece by accompanist Wells Leng, a multi-movement composition by Jasper Randall, a piece for choir, vibraphone, and double bass by conductor Saunder Choi, and Francesca Hauser's four-movement work Parturition.
