For his second anniversary concert, Gidon Kremer explores three generations of American composers. The program includes Charles Ives' atmospheric "The Unanswered Question," Leonard Bernstein's sharp and colorful "Serenade" for solo violin and orchestra, and Philip Glass' Violin Concerto No. 2 "The American Four Seasons," a modern nod to Vivaldi.
