Bassist Phil Mulford leads Thunderthumbs, a 10-piece band celebrating great soul and funk songs by George Benson, George Duke, Michael Jackson, Billy Preston, and The Brothers Johnson. Inspired by US bassist Louis Johnson, the performance features vocalists Jacqui Hicks, Debbie Bracknell, and Simon Foster alongside a rhythm section and horns.
