Milonaut combines spherical synthesizer sounds, brass riffs, and groovy basslines with danceable beats. Topped with a warm, versatile voice that ranges from intense singing and rap to improvisation, their sound draws comparisons to Fat Freddy’s Drop, Parcels, and Radiohead. Their lyrics serve as intimate incantations between memory and the present, exploring themes of love, queer identity, and loss through dark, tender imagery. On stage, the four-piece band is known for an irrepressible energy and seamless transitions, creating a flow reminiscent of a DJ set. After several EPs and competition wins, their debut album is set for release in 2026, accompanied by a tour showcasing their mix of intimacy and political tenderness.
