London Piano Festival: Gülsin Onay Performs Chopin
A nostalgic, underground classical night.
Turkish pianist Gülsin Onay presents a recital focused on the works of Frédéric Chopin as part of the London Piano Festival. The programme features a range of Chopin's compositions, including the Variations brillantes and Ballade No. 3, as well as the Andante spianato et Grande Polonaise brillante. The performance concludes with the ambitious Piano Sonata No. 3 in B minor, a work of four movements ranging from a commanding opening to a driven finale.
