Rhythm Workshop: Clave and Polyrhythms
An underground latin jazz night.
A hands-on, monthly rhythm workshop exploring clave and polyrhythms. Designed for musicians, dancers, and beginners of all backgrounds, the class uses call-and-response and movement exercises to develop intuitive groove and timing. The session examines how foundational clave patterns interlock with layered pulses across Afro-Cuban, Afro-Caribbean, and jazz traditions, concluding with an open jam for participating instrumentalists.
