Philip Glass’ Violin Concerto No. 1 is a poignant introduction to his work, featuring themes of deep beauty. The Los Angeles Philharmonic performs the piece alongside his new Symphony No. 15, which explores historical figures through the lens of Abraham Lincoln's 1838 Lyceum Address. The program features violinist Anne Akiko Meyers, reprising her role from the orchestra's acclaimed 2025 recording.
