Understanding Hindustani Classical Music Through Hindi
A homegrown, slow-burn hindustani classical night.
A session for beginners on Hindustani Classical Music, led by Dr. Prachi Khandekar. The event provides an introduction to the genre, exploring musical terminology in Hindi and understanding the lyrics and pronunciation of Bandish. Participants will learn Hindi vocabulary for Raga and Tala while developing an appreciation for Indian language, culture, and music.
