French quartet Claptrap brings its tropical pop and post-bossa grooves to Palac Akropolis, performing music from Adulting. Tickets on Mood.
French quartet Claptrap crafts a distinctive blend of progressive, tropical pop and wayward post-bossa. Founded by songwriter and guitarist Eric Pasquereau alongside Julien Chevalier and Paul Loiseau, and featuring Elia Guérin on keys and vocals, the group channels baroque exotica with Mediterranean mandolin, unorthodox percussion, and vintage synths. Presenting music from their debut album Adulting and subsequent release Second Guessing, their sound bridges melodic indie pop, Brazilian avant-garde grooves, and adventurous art-pop arrangements.
